Online Forum on Climate Resilience of Food Systems, putting Agroecology elements to action: Examples for national policy implementation and international developments - Shared screen with speaker view
Who can see your viewing activity?
Thank you Sena and JVE Togo for your excellent work!
Great experience from Togo.
It could be useful to see a more targeted brief and sharp message addressed to the attention of the G20 on the subject of urban and peri-urban agriculture (agroecological?), as this could be a subject of the next G20 dialogue. Feel welcome to feed it through my address: Nic.Pacini@governo.it
We ecourage all participants to raise their questions to our panelists.
@Fernanda: Impressive example from IFAD's Portfolio on how agroecology is being supported and also to Show that These Projects Can reach big numbers (not as often critizied, that only "small" Projects are possible. Can you give a bit more perspective on what IFAD thinks of using AE Elements to guide their Portfolio and increasingly use AE Elements to transform Food Systems and make them more resilience? We all know more Funding is needed for this type of work.
Can we get copies of the presentations?
Lukas Stiefel (Biovision)
@Fernanda: Would you say that your project provides a perspective for the youth? Often we hear that agriculture has no perspectives for the youth, so does agroecology provide more attractive future perspectives?

Unstable connection, looking forward to receiving the recording. Thanks
@Nyasimi: Of Course you will receive access to all presentations & recording as a follow up to the online forum
will this follow up be sent to all participants?
@Fernanda Most farmers I have talked to mention that agroecology is labor intensive, especially to women. What agroecology practices are easier ti implement, requiring less time and energy?
Rather how can we enhance and support the work of women without throwing them out of the production cycle and replacing their work with machines to the women's dentriment as they are rendered jobless?
@Mihaela: Yes, we will share the documentation and a wrapup of the Event with all of you.
Great, thank you!
Dear everyone, thank you very much for this enthusiasming webinar! Great to see so much support and consensus around the need for Agroecology for better food systems! Sorry I have to leave now, looking forward to the recordings and PPTs. Warm regards, Adriana - Caritas Internationalis
Thank you Adriana, we will circulate the materials in the coming days. Best regards, Maylina
You passed the questionnaire too quickly!
I would suggest that we need to think more on how the markets and consumers will pay for agroecology (more than simply food production).
I Don't see the window to answer
@all: As time was short for the questionnaries, you Can still share ideas and proposals with us after the Webinar and we can take it up in the minutes, when you found more time to distill it.
