Currently Sudan SUN developing National Nutrition multi-sectoral plan which will cover the priorities for nutrition specific and sensitive interventions. As currently working on orientation and consultation with all nutrition related stakeholders at all levels (National and sub-national) to ensure their engagement during the national plan development as well later to ensure alignment their support around this plan priorities.

Innovative financing to smallholder farmers is crucial in transforming the food system that is environmental friendly. Research in this regard is key to identify scalable and evidence-based, and environmental friendly nutrition sensitive agricultural technologies - broken cold chain and basic safety issue are some of the few challenges in Sudan.
