Digital trade tools are making considerable inroads in reshaping how agrifood trade transactions are executed. Many of which provide opportunities to lower costs, reduce friction, and overall strengthen efficiency and transparency in trade. However, how quickly are digital trade tools like paperless trade being adopted around the world and how can governments expedite this transition? This session aims to take stock of digital solutions for trade facilitation, their rate of implementation, and key issues for adoption.
